BACKGROUND

Nilakantha Polytechnic Institute (NPI) is newly established constituent institute of CTEVT. NPI was established in 2022 A.D. (2079 B.S.) in Nilakantha Municipality-4, Dhading district. It occupies the area of 13 Ropani of lands.NPI has been operating 2 long-term diploma level programs: Diploma Civil (Specialized in Hydropower Engineering) and Diploma in Automobile Engineering. Likewise, we have plan to running different types of long term and vocational training programs based on the need's assessment.

Mission:

Produce competent skill workforce for global Market.

Goal:

1. Produced qualified graduates in construction sector.

2. Enhance quality and competent assistant level Engineer in NPI.

3. Ensure 90% outcome through quality technical Education & Vocational Training by 2025.

Role of NPI:

NPI plays an important role in sustainable development in following ways:

• Providing technical education and vocational training for poverty reduction.

• To help students develop their knowledge, skills, attitude to become competent professionals

• Helps in increasing the per capita income by self-employment.

• Helps in managing the unemployed youths to become skilled human resource.

• To fulfill the Government goal to make “समृद्ध नेपाल सुखि नेपाली"(‘Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali) through TVET.
